SSB, MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS Recruitment For Various Posts

Applications are invited from Indian citizens for filling up the following posts of Group-‘C’ Non-Gazetted,

(Combatised) in Sashastra Seema Bal, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The posts are temporary,
but likely to continue. Selected candidates are liable to serve anywhere in India or outside the territory of India and will be governed by SSB Act and Rules.

Qualification:  

Constable (Driver)

 Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board.

 Must possess valid Heavy Vehicle Driving license.

Constables (Cook, Washer man, Barber, Safaiwala & Water Carrier)

 Two years Diploma from recognized Industrial Training Institute in the trade or similar trade or

Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board with

One year certificate course from a recognized Industrial Training Institute or Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the trade; or

Two years work experience in respective trade; ii) Must qualify trade test.

 Desirable: Multi-skilled candidates will be given preference.

Pay Scale: 

Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.2000/-.

Selection Procedure:

Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination/Assessment, Trade Test, Medical Examination

For All Other Candidates (SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen & female) Application Fee is – Nil
